About Natasha

Natasha is a highly experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist. Qualified since 2003, with a uniquely broad background across physical, learning, and mental health disabilities with both children and adults. She has excellent interpersonal and assessment skills and is passionate about enabling clients to live full and meaningful lives. Known for her friendliness, efficiency, professionalism, her holistic approach to care, and of course her red-hair!

Natasha has been a guest lecturer at Brighton University, leading teaching sessions for their Occupational Therapy Degree and Masters qualification Courses.

Natasha has previously been the Disability Advisor for GirlGuiding East Sussex

Natasha volunteers with the Marfan Trust where she offers OT advice via their helpline as well as running webinars offering advice around topics including access to education, access to work, functional living skills, fatigue management, equipment and adaptations.

Natasha also volunteers for the charity Chiddingly Festival of Arts where she created and event directs their “Spirit Day”. This is a totally free event for families of all ages, offering inclusive access to creative art experiences such illustration, painting, pottery, horticulture and music as well as hands-on experiences such as Circus Skills and archery.

Natasha is also currently completing her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training, qualifying late spring 2026. She is passionate about integrating yoga principals into her Occupational Therapy work using gentle movement, breathwork and meditation to promote wellbeing, connection and inclusion for people with disabilities and living with long term health conditions.

Who we work with

Natasha works collaboratively with Solicitors, Case Managers, Businesses, Charities and Individual Private Clients, face to face and virtually, to provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention. She specialises in the following areas:

  • Housing and adaptations

  • Independent living skills

  • Fatigue management

  • Mobility aids/equipment including WAV’s

  • Manual handling including training of staff

  • Weekly therapy sessions

  • Access to education

  • Access to holidays

  • Access to work.

  • Sensory skills

Clinical experience

Private OT company

Working with children and adults. instructed by Case Managers and Solicitors on litigation cases either in process or post-settlement. Providing a full Occupational Therapy assessment and working towards joint goals. Working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team including Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Care Staff.

Community rehabilitation (NHS)

Working with adults post hospital discharge in their homes to increase independence skills and improve quality of life. Including equipment provision, wheelchair prescribing, manual handling, basic exercise rehabilitation

Children’s adaptations team (Local Authority)

Working with children aged 0-19 in their homes to provide equipment and major adaptations. Working alongside Surveyors, Architects and Local Authority DFG providers.

Special needs School and College (Independent Charitable Trust)

Providing therapeutic support across school, college, residential, and community settings to promote students’ social, emotional, and functional development. This included conducting in-depth assessments, working on sensory skills, delivering individual and group therapy, supporting access to learning, and working closely with staff and families to build independence and resilience for adulthood.

Mental health rehabilitation: (NHS)

A specialist mental health inpatient unit working with clients with complex and enduring mental health conditions with the aim of rehabilitation back into the community. This included independent living skills, access to work, individual and group work.
